Everyone’s talking about ALIGNMENT these days. The content creators, mindset gurus and business coaches ask, “Are you aligning your behavior, choices, outcomes with your values, purpose, favorite color?” “Is your vibration high enough to ALIGN with Source, God, Universe?”
Is your presentation, execution and client attraction energy, output, marketing plan ALIGNED in such a way that you’re attracting your ideal/soul/avatar client? If your answer is no, have I got a program for you!
We think, “What’s wrong with me if my answer is no? I must be mis-aligned with my status as a business woman, because all I want to do is have a practice that serves, helps, supports growth, well-being, happiness, love, or even facing grief and loss powerfully.
All of my course work, webinar viewing, business, money and raise the vibration mentors work with healers, coaches, teachers and the like. They say we need to prepare our minds, hearts, souls to become business women so that we can reach our aligned clients. We need skills to become business people. I’ve tried and tried, I’ve discovered my financial trauma, my internal “monkey brain”, what stops me and what motivates me, and along the way, that I have something to contribute to others.
Today, I had this thought: Over the last 30 years, since I discovered I could cross over from social worker to coach, an eco-system has grown around the need of the world for us, and for us to learn that our lived experience has value. I bought the “story” that I need to learn how to do it all so that I can fulfill my purpose. The thing is, I realize how much time and energy and resistance I have expended to doing it all so that I can Be, Have and Do what I want.
I do subscribe to the belief that WORDS CREATE WORLDS (the concept is centuries old). Words spoken create one’s reality, and even re-wire the brain. They create the lens through which we “know” the world, the way we say who we/you are. I’ve been trying to squeeze myself into the model of saying I’m a business woman so that I can “sell” myself and my “product” to my targeted cohort of aligned people. There’s nothing wrong with that, if it feels right for you. I bought into many aspects of that mindset, and that’s OK. But it’s not in alignment with my age and stage of life.
I am aligned, though, with the WORDS healer, educator, supporter, creator, mentor. In this context, I do not feel constrained or forced, I feel…aligned. In this context, I SAY I have a practice as a Certified Grief Educator and Renewal Mindset Mentor; services for which I am happy to be paid.
I will share these offerings and invite people who are interested in working with me into my Practice. My Practice, where I honor my Purpose.
